Active substance: Vitamin E acetate 50 g
Excipients (simulsol, potassium sorbate, propylene glycol, deionized water) ad 1000 ml
Vitamin E protects the cell membranes against destructive action of peroxides resulted from fat degradation. It supports the absorption of vitamin A, stimulates the reproductive function, spermatogenesis, ovulation, implantation and embryonic development.
Deficiencies of vitamin E cause miodistrophy especially in calves and lambs, encephalomalacia in fowl (2 -4 weeks old chickens), azoospermia, embryonic death etc.
Cattle, sheep, goats, swine, fowl (hen, turkey, guinea fowl, quail, pheasant, peacock, goose, duck and pigeon), dogs and cats
Prevention of myodistrophy in calves, lambs and piglets, in encephalomalacia and myodistrophy of chickens; stimulation of laying and prevention of embryonic death in fowl; control of infertility and abortion in mammals.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to vitamin E.
Long lasting administration of high doses may cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, oligo and azoospermia, ovarian involution.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The product is administered for 5-7 days via the drinking water, in the following daily doses:
- in adult cattle: 3 – 20 ml
- in swine, sheep, goats: 1 – 10 ml
- in dogs and cats, depending on size and diseases: 0,3 – 1 ml
- in fowl: 1 ml to 1 liter of drinking water (related to the 24 hours water consumption). In clinical forms of nutritional encephalomalacia in avian youth, Vitamin E is administered in dose of 4 ml/liter of drinking water (15 – 20 mg / kg body weight).
In mammals, Vitamina E is administered via the drinking water or diluted in small amount of water and then administered in the corner of the mouth using a measure or a syringe without needle.
