Adjuvant in treatment of wounds for external use
COMPOSITION for 100 ml
Phenol 2 g; Tannin 4 g; Iodoform 3 g; Gentian violet 1 g
Isopropyl alcohol up to 100 ml
Cicatrisol has protective, astringent, siccative and antiseptic (bactericide and fungicide) action due to its components. Cicatrisol is efficient as adjuvant in the treatment of the skin wounds. It penetrates the altered tissue, helps to protein coagulation and facilitates the occurrence of a protective layer for sterile healing of the wound.
Dogs, cats, racing and ornamental pigeons
As adjuvant in the treatment of lymphangitis and bursitis, lying wounds, phlegmonous or gangrenous dermatitis, excoriations or traumatic skin wounds, burns.
Avoid contact of the product with the eyes of the animal.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Cicatrisol is applied on the altered skin after the previous surgical treatment or cleaning of the wound. The treatment applies daily until the complete healing of the wounds. In case of bandaged wounds, the product is applied every 2 days. The wounds treated with Cicatrisol should be let uncovered until their healing.
Do not expose the container to the sunlight and to temperatures exceeding 50ºC.
Do not spray the product close to open fire and incandescent objects. Avoid contact with the eyes and inhalation of the vapors. Licking of the product by animal should be avoided. Protective clothing and appropriate gloves should be worn during handling the product because it stains the hands and clothing.
Simple or dropping bottles of 20, 50 and 100 ml.
