Anti diarrhea adjuvant
100 ml Enterotrat contain:
25 ml mint (Mentha piperita) leaf decoction; 20 ml silverweed (Potentilla anserinae ) decoction; 25 ml poplar bud (Gemmae populi) decoction; 3 g Kaolin; 0.2 g Benzoic Acid; Excipient (deionized water) up to 100 ml
Mint (Mentha piperita) through its compounds – menthol, Mentone, alpha pinene and other volatile oils – has bacteriostatic and antiseptic action at gastrointestinal level. It also has an anti-diarrhea, astringent and antiemetic role.
Silverweed (Potentilla anserinae) is a tannin-rich plant which increases the anti-diarrhea and astringent effects of mint.
Poplar buds (Gemmae populi) contain phenol glycosides (salicin, populin) which enhance the elimination of intestinal toxic residues, precipitate the intestinal bacteria by inactivating them, reduce swelling and enhance the recovery of the damaged intestinal epithelia.
Kaolin (Bolus alba) is an argil with absorbent properties binding bacteria, bacterial toxins and local irritating matters as well as toxic substances accidentally ingested by the animal.

As adjuvant in the treatment of primary and secondary enteropathies. It is also an adjuvant in acute or chronic intoxications of the digestive tube. It is a good detoxifying agent of the animal organism.
Method of administration
- Administer 10 – 15 ml Enterotrat for each 100 kg body weight by potation or via the drinking water in large size animals (swine, horses, cattle).
- Administer 2 – 5 ml Enterotrat for each 10 kg body weight by potation or via the drinking water in small size animals (dogs, cats, fowls).
Shake well before use.
The product consists of plant extracts and argil. There is no withdrawal period for meat, milk or eggs.
