Fasciocid is a triclabendazol endo parasitic product which acts mainly against trematodes, especially young forms. Fasciocid treatment provides the elimination of trematodes from the animal’s body and prevents the infestation of the pasture when applied in early grazing season.
For the treatment and control of flukes infections: fasciolosis (Fasciola hepatica and Fasciola magna), acting against the early stages, mature and premature forms; paramphistomosis (Paramphistomum cervi).
Do not use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
- Cattle: 6 ml Fasciocid/50 kg body weight (12 mg triclabendazol/1 kg body weight).
- Sheep: 1 ml Fasciocid/10 kg body weight (10 mg triclabendazol/1 kg body weight).
After a previous shaking, the product is administered orally using a bottle or a syringe. The administration should be repeated after 48 hours in case of massive infections.
The prophylaxis should consist of 4 annual administrations, namely before grazing, during grazing (in July and September) and after stabulation.
Shake the bottle before use. Use clean and dry bottles or syringes for administration.
Assess correctly the animal’s body weight in order to avoid under and overdoses.
Meat: 28 days;
Bottles of 100, 250, 500 and 1000 ml.
