Antimicrobial and anti stress product
100 g Oxifuran vitaminizat contains:
Active substances: Oxytetracycline hydrochloride 14 g; Furazolidone 4 g
Excipients: vitamin – mineral substrate (Vitamin A 600.000 UI; Vitamin D3 200.000 UI; Vitamin E 250 UI; Vitamin K3 100 mg; Vitamin B1 250 mg; D-pantothenic acid 300 mg; Biotin 8 mg; Vitamin C 1000 mg; Magnesium 300 mg; Zinc 40 mg; Methionine 800 mg; Lactose 1.500 mg) calcium carbonate, Soy ad 100 g
Oxytetracycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic with significant action against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria, large viruses, rickettsia and spirochetes.
Furazolidone is a chemotherapeutic agent with significant antimicrobial action against some Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria and against also some protozoa (Histomonas sp., Trichomonas sp., Giardia, coccidii etc.)
Vitamins increase the body resistance to infections and stimulate the immune response.
Cage and flight birds (racing and ornamental pigeons, peacocks, pheasants, canaries, parrots, goldfinch), dogs and cats.
Prevention (in diagnosed animals) treatment of coccidiosis, mycoplasmosis, colibacillosis and salmonelosis in cage and flight birds, dogs and cats.
Do not use the product in palmipeds (mandarin duck).
Do not use in pigeons and pheasants for human consumption.
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipient.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
oxifuran vitaminizat is incorporated into the fodder in the following doses:
- in cage birds and flight cage birds: 5 – 0.6 g/kg of fodder, for 2 – 4 weeks;
- in dogs and cats:
- during weaning: 1 – 1.5 g/kg of fodder, for 3 – 4 days;
- after weaning: 0.3 – 0.5/kg of fodder, for 3 – 4 days;
The product should be well-homogenized into the fodder.
In anorexic dogs or cats, the product may be administered as suspension in the drinking water, using a syringe without needle or a teaspoon;
Do not use simultaneously with other antibiotics.
Do not administer at the same time with aluminum-based antacids or products containing Ca, Mg or Fe due to occurrence of tetracycline chelating reactions.
